My stay at The Carpenters Arms was delightful. The charming decor and delicious food made for a pleasant retreat. I did encounter some noise from the pub at night, but it didn't overshadow the fantastic experience overall. Highly recommended for a relaxing escape!

Breakfast options felt confusing due to slow service and lack of communication about choices beyond hot items. The absence of orange juice during breakfast service seemed odd, especially considering the high-quality dining experience expected from a place focused on food.

The peaceful garden terrace was a perfect spot for a morning coffee while the patio area was great for relaxing in the evening sun. Just a small tip, it would be nice if the tables were cleared a bit quicker, but overall, we had a fantastic time! 😊

excellent base for exploring thirsk's charming sites and parks
I truly enjoyed my stay, especially the wonderful breakfast and the pleasant views from the dining room, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions like the world of james herriot and the beautiful white horse of kilburn, both just a short drive away. while the room was spacious and had everything i needed, a little refresh would make it even better for future visits.

missingWrote a review on 28 Mayslow service
While the room had many appealing features, the overall decor and certain amenities were starting to show signs of wear, slightly diminishing the luxurious feel. the service during breakfast was a bit slow, with some tea and toast requests taking longer than expected, which could be frustrating if you’re in a hurry. It was also puzzling that the kitchen ran out of orange juice, a basic offering that one would expect at a place like this. Lastly, some minor maintenance issues, like cobwebs and curtain wear and tear, hinted that the cleaning staff might need a bit more direction in keeping everything shipshape.
